Take the place of one or more nouns in the subject of a sentence.
Subject Pronouns – Take the place of one or more nouns in the subject of a sentence. They can be singular or plural. Tips: The New Slide button is on the Standard toolbar. You can also click Insert>New Slide.

Singular Subject Pronouns: I, you, he, she, it
If you don’t see the Elements Gallery, click View>Elements Gallery. To see a description of a slide layout in the Elements Gallery, rest the pointer over the layout thumbnail. Placeholder buttons indicate the type of object that you can add, for example, a picture, table, or chart. Plural Subject Pronouns: you, we, they Note: I is a subject pronoun – It should only be used in the subject and when used in a compound subject it comes last.

My books are in my locker, and they belong there.
Underline the subject pronoun. If the antecedent is present, circle it: Mr. George is an English teacher, and he knows a lot about short stories. My books are in my locker, and they belong there. Maria wrote a story. She told A.J. about the characters. We can finish the project. I talked to Kevin, and _____ thinks it is fantastic. My friends have copies, and _____ will read it soon. Tips: If you don’t see the Formatting Palette, click View>Formatting Palette. To make changes to the picture, you first have to select the picture.

Object Pronouns – Take the place of one or more nouns and they are found AFTER verbs or prepositions. They can be singular or plural. Tips: The New Slide button is on the Standard toolbar. You can also click Insert>New Slide.

Singular Object Pronouns: me, you, him, her, it
If you don’t see the Elements Gallery, click View>Elements Gallery. To see a description of a slide layout in the Elements Gallery, rest the pointer over the layout thumbnail. Plural Object Pronouns: us, you, them Note: me is an object pronoun – It should only be used in the predicate and when used in conjunction with another object, it should come last.
