Savings Savings grows money. Save for future needs and wants.

Save to Spend later Save money in a piggy bank until you have enough money to buy something you want or need. If you make a habit of saving, you will have more choices on how to spend your money. Save now to spend later on something better.

Open a Bank Account When your piggy bank gets heavy, open a bank account. You will need your parent’s help at the bank. Deposit some of your money in a savings account. Savings in the bank earns interest. Your money makes money.

Deposit Regularly You should try to deposit some of your money every month. The bank will pay you interest every month on your balance. Grow Money at the Bank.

Capital When you have more money in savings than you need for future needs and wants, you have Capital. Capital is spent on investments. Most investments make money. Use your savings as capital. Let your money make money.
