2 Retention  Why?  Required – quota expectations from Supreme, State & District  Admin – retention worksheet before suspension (Form-1845)  Want – offset weak programs/activities (stop the leak)  How?  Leadership messages & actions that are CLEAR

10  Difficulties completing current information?  When was last contact with member?  Are you certain member is aware of delinquent dues?  Does member feel like an important Knight in the council?  How do I find him?  Proposer – look at original Form-100 (contact previous council)  Local records – KofC Insurance, Parish, Schools  Online search – emails, Google, Social Media Retention Worksheet

11  Record of first contact  Ask proposer, parishioner, workmate, or friend to contact the member  Direct contact (face-to-face or telephone)  Fraternal message of caring (health of member & family, work, etc.)  LISTEN (why isn’t member active with council?)  Is member still a practical Catholic?  What would it take to bring him back to the Knights?  How can the Knights help him and his family?  Would member participate in council program for relief of dues?
