Study for your Quiz No talking – study from your notes or your book. Get out your homework that was due Monday.

Leave your Homework out on your desk Get out two sheets of paper and two pencils. When you finish the quiz, you may start on Lesson 12-2 (page 601) in your textbook. Do the entire Lesson 12-2. Take notes on the pages and do the Check Understanding. Keep your quiz at your desk. On #8, on the grey homework, A should read -6.

Percents, Decimals, Fractions Review Keep your homework, it will be graded tomorrow during your quiz. Do page 100 in your workbook. Find percent of a number. – 15 is what percent of 20? – What is 20% of 60? – 10 is 10% of what number?

Get out your Homework Warm-up 3/10: Combine like terms by simplifying the expression: 3x + 5 – 2x + 8 – 4x If x = 3, solve the simplified expression. Sign up for Tutoring if you plan to stay next Wednesday.

Unit Price Project 5B If you scored below a C on the project, I am allowing you to complete the project due by Friday. You will be re-graded on the project but with a 10 point decrease. If you did not turn in the project at all, you made an F and you can complete the project by Friday.

Unit Price Project 3B and 4B For extra credit, you can complete your project due by Wednesday. By completing the project, you can increase your grade by as much as 10 points. For me to grade your project for the full extra credit, you must complete all parts and follow directions completely.

Write your Homework in your Bull Book Rework Missed Problems on the Integer Word Problems Worksheet due Wednesday Rework Missed Problems on the Order of Operations worksheet due Friday Do 1-4 on the Combine Like Terms worksheet due Friday Equations and Inequalities worksheet due Tuesday

For your order of operations homework… I will give extra credit on the homework if you correctly show how to work out #4, 9, 11, 16, 17, and 18. You will receive 5 points per correct answer.

Inequalities >, <, = ≥, ≤, ≠ 9 > 7 -9 < 7 0 > -3 3 ≠ -3

BrainPop Inequalities Solving Inequalities Writing Inequalities from Word Problems

What numbers work for the inequalities shown? j > 3 r < 2 v ≠ 3 x ≤ -4

Inequalities Think of these as reading a sentence. A school bus can hold no more than 54 students. There are already 37 students on the school bus. Which inequality represents the number of additional students the bus can hold? A. x < 17 B. x ≤ 17 C. x ≥ 17 What is x in the problem? Which choice fits what the problem is asking for?

Inequalities A boat will hold up to 350 pounds. There are three people on the boat. Caroline weighs 114 pounds, and Carson weighs 136 pounds. Which inequality represents the weight, w, of a third person? A. w ≤ 100 B. w ≥ 100 C. w ≥ 250 D. w ≤ 250

Graphing Inequalities on a Number Line

Practice There are 24 desks in the classroom and 12 students are already seated. Write an inequality for how many more students can sit at a desk in the classroom.

Practice Solve y + 5 ≤ –2. Solve 2g ≤ 12. Solve 5r > 15. Solve 14 < y/2. y ≤ -7 g ≤ 6 r > 3 y > 28

Warm-Up 3/11 Adam decides to walk to school on Thursday. It takes him at least 25 minutes to walk to school. Graph the inequality described on the number line. Sign up for Tutoring if you plan to stay next Wednesday.

In your Textbook.. Turn to page 601 and read Lesson 12-2. Work the Check Your Understanding problems. Do #1-14 in the lesson.
