3. Once one enters the drill team world they are thrown into a group of girls with one common interest: dance. At first it will be awkward and maybe a little crazy but soon they come together to connect as sisters. Being that junior varsity is a mainly freshman team the girls can lean on one another to help through this rough year. There will always be someone who can lift another's spirit on a bad day or simply help with homework.

4. One can make varsity without being on the junior varsity team but it only becomes that much more difficult and those who did junior varsity have a great advantage over someone who did not. Junior varsity teaches the fundamental skills, tricks of the trade, and discipline needed to be successful on varsity.
