Keeps students on a continuum of learning Enables community colleges to recruit credit students from within – saves dollars Saves students and financial aid granting agencies dollars - learning is not duplicated Saves students time - learning is not duplicated Promotes “one college “ concept – CE and CU both have an equally important role to play in helping students achieve their goal(s)
