NC22 - New River Chapter Who we are …. Small chapter (36 members); three counties served (Ashe, Allegheny & Wilkes) 9 Meetings per year Small in number with ~ 60% participation Focus on fraternal programs/information delivery Military Veterans Goal driven board, with limited support August 10, 2013 2 NC Council of Chapters Quarterly Meeting

NC22 - New River Chapter Successes: Support to membership primary focus Monthly meeting with a military topic, as available Chapter website/newsletter/e-newsletter all received 1 st place or 1 st runner up finish in Col. Marvin J. Lewis Communication Award program in 2010/2011 Dedicated members – webpage/newsletter/committees: personal affairs/legislative RADM Scott L. Sears, USN Memorial Scholarship Support to JROTC Programs @ 3 area high schools August 10, 2013 3 NC Council of Chapters Quarterly Meeting
