Since last we spoke… Zoho Creator for SLP 16 participating Libraries (45% increase from last year) Over 9,000 registered users (25% increase) Highly customized interface developed for each participating library “I only wish we had offered to be one of your test libraries a couple summers ago. Windows 7 Server Work: Servers Virtualized All servers upgraded to Server 2008 R2 New Support tools tested and in place Staff and Patron Images Staff Image in production at 3 libraries +HQ ○ All new Staff PCs will receive Windows 7 Patron image almost ready ○ Security is primary concern ○ New tools needed for Windows 7

Bandwidth Update SCLS Work complete New equipment installed MUFN Fiber connected WiscNet work completed 28 libraries receiving bandwidth increase on BadgerNet Line TEACH approved bandwidth increase for only top 50% of libraries Work continues throughout the summer

VPN solution Badgernet Substitute Utilize private ISP for network connection over Virtual Private Network (VPN) New Core Router can handle traffic Currently undergoing lab testing Will be used at libraries where Badgernet is not a viable bandwidth solution Identifying Third-Party ISPs as partners
