GOALS To improve the life of people in various sectors of society To create awareness to the society regarding matters of anti-racism, ecology, and peace and non-violence.

STRATEGY AND METHODOLY Our philosophy is always to follοw the needs of the people. We always maintain a strong bond to the movements and groups so we know their realities and don't oppose our projects and aims We develop our projects in cooperation with the targeted groups.

It is important for ANTIGONE to provide ground for the organisation of common activities between all different groups of the society. It is very important to have the space and the opportunity to interact and meet others, which is a means for trying to bring down the “walls” and allow people’s participation.

TARGET GROUP mainly the discriminated groups of society, such as: - asylum seekers and refugees - migrants and minorities - women - homosexuals - youngsters and elderly - disabled (physically and mentally) - prisoners and released - people from geographically remote areas - unemployed - people with different religion

ACTIVITIES of ANTIGONE : Implements Activity Projects (awareness-raising activities, anti-discrimination events, training seminars and courses, intercultural dialogue workshops, non formal education activities, vocational trainings etc) carries out Research (ANTIGONE is the official Greek partner of the European Agency for Fundamental Rights for the “Provision of Reports and Studies on Legal Issues concerning the promotion and protection of fundamental rights in the European Union”, is the Greek partner for the European Network of Legal Experts in the Non-discrimination Field and is responsible for the Greek Update of the European Website on Integration) disseminates relevant Publications and issues Press Releases Organises Round Table Discussions (Government representatives, public officials, academics, NGOs, migrant and minority organisations participate)
