2. Objectives  Development of training materials  Organization of training events targeting also “sister” communities  Introducing mentors or young researchers from outside the core consortium

3. Task 6.1 – Training materials and open training infrastructure  Leader: STI2  Curriculum for the training activities of PlanetData forming a basis for education on large-scale data management.  Deliverable:  D6.1 Training curriculum / STI2 / Month 6  Deliverable will describe curriculum for semantic data management, according to which the training program of PlanetData will be structured and organized

4. Task 6.2 – Training events  Leader: IJS  The aim of this task is to plan and organize training events to share knowledge from the PlanetData network to a wider community.  The task will target as wide an audience as possible  Different types training events will be organized, including summer schools, tutorials, hands-on workshops, web- casts, and joint events with related initiatives.  Deliverable:  D6.2 Open training infrastructure / JSI / Month 6  This deliverable will represent the first version of the open training infrastructure and will provide an overview of the infrastructure created to support training in the PlanetData

5. Task 6.3 – Mentoring and career development program  Leader: KIT  The aim of this task is to create a mentoring and career development program  Professional experts in the network will act as mentors to researchers pursuing doctoral or postdoctoral research in the field of large-scale data management.  In addition to mentoring, researchers in the network will have access to tailored career development planning.  Bi-annual F2F meetings will complement regular contact
