2.  The Developmental Assets come from research done by the Search Institute.  They are like “building blocks” – relationships, experiences, values, attitudes, and characteristics that all students need to succeed.  Research shows that the more assets students have, the more likely they are to be successful and the less likely they are to get in trouble

3. EExternal Assets are the people in your life, the places you go, and the activities you do that help you to be successful. IInternal Assets are the things you do that help you to be successful.

24. Start on Time You have done an AMAZING job in the first two months of school starting each class on time! Keep it going T-Birds! Make sure you plan ahead to get to class on time! Walk swiftly and take the shortest route to your next class. Take care of your personal needs before school, at lunch, or after school. Save socializing for lunch and after school so you and your friends can be on time! Students who DO NOT start on time are expected to get a pass from the designated hallway staff to enter class. Let’s do it the T-Bird Way!

25. Hall Passes 10/10 Rule Students may not leave class during the first 10 or the last 10 minutes. Students must use restroom in their own hallway. Students must have a Destination Pass to go anywhere besides their hallway.

29. Students who follow “The T-bird Way” in the hallways and classroom will be eligible for reward tickets!!! Staff members will distribute REWARD TICKETS to student’s they observe following the T-bird Way. If you receive a ticket, you will need to write in your name and id# and return it to the staff member who gave it to you. Each month we will have a drawing and you can win some AWESOME prizes! The next drawing will be held on November 25 th.
