3. It was a cold morning, and a lion was sleeping in his cave. He was the ruler of the forest and everyone was afraid of him. Everyday he would have an animal as his dinner. “Today” he thought,”I will have a snail for dinner!” So he went out to find himself a snail. There were dead snails and ugly snails. But then he caught his eye on something. It was a perfect snail. He sneaked up on it and held it by the shell..

4. “There you are!” cried the snail. “The lion was surprised that someone was looking for him. Usually there trying to run away from him. “What do you need?” Answered the lion. “There is another animal,” Cried the snail. “So what? Its more for me to eat!” Answered the lion proudly. “ No you don’t understand, there is another animal ruling the forest since yesterday,”said the snail.

5. “Another animal?”Said the lion. “Yes another animal.” Repeated the snail. “What kind of animal?”Asked the lion. “A tiger!” answered the snail. And we need to find him quick, before more animals in the forest vote for him to be ruler!”

6. So they were on there way through the forest looking for the tiger. “Where are we?”Asked lion. “I don’t know!”Said snail. “You don’t know!?” Asked the lion in anger. “Lets just keep going straight.”Said the snail worried.

7. A few minutes later the lion heard a scream! It sounded like snail! The lion ran as quickly as he possibly could. There was snail! But there was someone next to him! It was an old man trying to hurt snail! The lion jumped on the old man and bit him! The old man quickly ran away!

8. They started on their way again. Then they heard a tiger roar! They quickly ran over……there were a lot of animals there, and they were all sitting in a circle around another animal! It was a tiger! “That’s him!”said snail! They walked over to the tiger with snail sort of hiding behind lion. Lion quickly charged over to lion! They had a huge fight! All the animals were cheering for lion! The tiger was angry and also a little scared so he ran away!

9. A few years later the lion and the snail were best friends and the lion wasn’t mean anymore. He learned a lesson from tiger. And he said he would never be mean to any other animals ever again!
