100 Point Club Everyone starts with 100 points Points are lost for signing Discipline Log. Most infractions are 2-5 points Must have 60 pts. at end of 9-weeks to attend the 100 Pt. Club celebration Points start over at beginning of each quarter

Agenda Passes All agendas have a page with 5 passes for each 9-week grading period Passes primarily used for restroom and locker Use all five passes and points are taken away to get things out of lockers Encourage your kids to be as organized as possible!!!!!!!!

Electronics Policy Cell phones should be OFF & AWAY E-readers are fine as long as they’re for reading Tablets are o.k for research in school Morning detention for those breaking rules

Things to Bring EVERY DAY Pencil Math notebook Loose leaf paper Dry erase marker Math book

Math Homework Policy Expect HW 3 nights per week. None Fridays Missing homework = name in “book” and a zero in the gradebook Turn HW in next day with no grade penalty Turn in 2 or more days late = loss of 10% Missing HW can be turned in until the last week of a grading period No reminders will be given--RESPONSIBLE

Grading Procedures HW = 30% Tests = 70% All HW can be redone once to get 100% Tests can be redone ONCE for ½ credit Late work still loses 10% Papers with % grade on them are in gradebook Papers with # wrong are not in gradebook

Honors Grade Expectations Students enrolled in Honors classes are expected to maintain grades of 73% (C) or better throughout their enrollment in the classes. If a student receives a 70-72% (C-) or lower at the end of the first, second, or fourth nine weeks grading period, he/she will be moved down a course level at the start of the following grading period. If a student receives a 70-72% (C-) or lower at the end of the third nine weeks grading period, he/she will remain in the class through the school year, but moved down a course level at the start of the next school year.

Things to Remember Don’t be a helicopter parent. You can’t come to their rescue forever. Teachers have no reason to lie about what happens in school. Be patient. We are here for your children. Contact us with any questions.
