13 th Dec 2010 Comment from Members At the last meeting Janice Jackson was asked to find someone by the unusual name of Bilyard. In the afternoon she looked again & found someone had put the tree on Ancestry. Frances Houghton had a similar issue with an Australian lady, but we don't know if she was just visiting or living here. Attaching photos to a diagram: pros and cons of embedding versus linking. If linking, how best to keep photos and GED file together? Sending diagram to be printed: Where, how and in what format (what does it cost)? Splitting a branch from the Family Tree (if time permits)

Answering the Questions- Splitting off a Branch from the Family Tree Splitting off a Branch from the Tree is relatively easy. It enables one to send data on one area of the family without having to send the whole tree. Care must be taken when splitting a branch from the tree. If you inadvertently save the branch with the original family name, you will lose the tree data.
