Forgive us … … and forgive us … God is our giver and our forgiver. The prayer Jesus could never pray.

Forgive us … “ On the possibility and limits of forgiveness ”.

The problem of sin… Missing the target. Slipping or falling. Stepping across the line. Breaking the law. Moral or spiritual debt (used here in Lord ’ s prayer)

Sin and guilt can be dealt with… Proverbs 28:13 He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

Jeremiah 31:34 … they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus…

…as we have forgiven… Not the cause of our forgiveness But… Condition Consistency Matthew 17:23 onwards

Praying and doing… Have you come and asked forgiveness from God? Is your guilt removed? Is there anyone you must forgive that you have not already forgiven?
