I can hear him coming up the stairs.

I switch on my player and call the police.

I can hear police sirens approaching. Then the car jolts forward, as it tries to out run the police.

The van is going at a fast speed but not enough to out run the police.

The police ram into the back of the van. To stay in, I must hold on to the seat.

The van then comes to a stop and the man runs out.

They say they will search for the man, but I should only leave my home if necessary.

I then go back to the house, into my bed and pretend it was all a dream.
