7 What is deforestation affecting in the rainforest ?
Lack of air: trees produce air for mankind by absorbing carbon dioxide (the gas we breath out) and pump out oxygen (the gas we need to stay alive). The Amazon Rainforest has been described as the "Lungs of our Planet"

8 What is deforestation affecting in the rainforest ?
Cancer cures in plants: 745,180 men and 629,00 women are diagnosed with cancer every year. Medical experts say that they have found 300,000 different plants that are active against cancer cells. 70% of these plants live in rainforests so if we use up all of these plants it could be a disaster for mankind.
