P R A Y I N G 2 Chronicles 7:14 If My people, called by My name Humble themselves and pray We are to recognise our frailties and so ‘humble’ ourselves faced with the enormity of our plight so that we, His people will acknowledge Him as God Almighty Seek My face God wants us to understand who He is, what He looks like, His character and nature And turn from their wicked ways Having understood who God is we recognise our sins and are asked to repent I will hear and forgive and heal your lands In His mercy God forgives and restores our land which represents our security, our home, our provisions, our crops and our fruitfulness. God promises to put things right if we turn back to Him in repentance.

F u r t h e r p r a y i n g Intercessory prayers, as advocates for people facing God’s judgements_ Moses in Numbers 14, Daniel 9 Spiritual Warfare _ we on earth can put on our Armour of God_ Ephesians 6:10- 18 and support those battling in heaven _ Daniel 10:20 – 11:1, 1 Timothy 2:1-2, Matthew 18-18 Groaning in the Holy Spirit _ Romans 8: 26-27 Pray in tongues ‘In Jesus name’ protecting us from infiltration by the enemy Pray under the protection of Jesus’ precious blood, spilt in payment and victory, which covers us and our loved ones and everything concerning us.

Armour of God Ephesians 6:10- 18 ‘Helmet of Salvation’ we are saved by God we are His people called by Him ‘Breastplate of Righteousness’ God’s righteousness covers our actions NOT our own righteousness ‘Shield of Faith’ To protect us against Satan’s fiery darts ‘Belt of Truth’ holds everything together securely ‘Sword of the Spirit’ Is the Word of God used to cut though ‘Sandals of Peace’ To stand in the Gospel of peace and meekness Stand against evil and pray for Christians
