2 ARCP panel expectations Curriculum coverage Number of QUALITY entries Breadth of domain coverage 1 mini audit per year and 1 big audit with completion of two cycles with the 3 ST years 3x SEA per 6 months Case presentation every six months PSQs (ST2), DOPs, CDBs and COTs PDP

3 E-portfolio changes Entries no longer have to be read to be sent to PDP Comments by Trainers are clearly flagged Educators Notes (Ed Sups & Trainers) Review form and Ed Sup form changes Downloads

4 Case Presentations This can be a presentation of a clinical case study, literature review, a research project, a discussion paper or notes review; such a presentation may have been given in a departmental setting or VTS group. Key points considered in the assessment of this work are: Discussion of how practice relates to the evidence base Demonstration of relevance to career in GP

5 OOHs 36 hours OOH experience (a balance of telephone triage, visits and OOH surgeries) per six months of GP Most Pennine GPSTs will have to do 96 hours OOH prior to the May summative Educational Supervision at the end of ST3. But those that have done a palliative care APE only have to do 72 hours!

7 IMGs In 2009 there are 527 GPSTs in the West and North & East (not including Northern Lincs ) Localities. Of these, 143 are International Medical Graduates = 27% Pennine figures are in line at 15/53 = 28%

8 IMGs – One of the challenges 2008 RCGP report details performance CSA fail rate for UK grads = 8.4% Non UK, Non EU fail rate = 46% AKT fail rate for UK grads = 9.3% Non UK, Nin EU fail rate = 28.9%
