Starter Aim To introduce the language required when making telephone calls + strategies for recognition of meaning. Write the numbers 1–7 + match to the French A-G which your teacher will read out. (Really?) C’est bien! That’s great! D’accord Ok Tu as raison You’re right. Stalling for time Eh bien... Well... Euh... Um... Alors... So... Donc... So... Bof, ….Erm, … Use fillers and transitions. These help the conversation flow or give you an extra few seconds to think of what to say. Also they make you sound really French!
