The 3 elements of the scheme
Performance (Objectives) - Focus on team, year or whole school objectives - Time bound, challenging but achievable Competency (Core Competency Framework) -Behaviours that support high levels of performance Development (Individual PDP) - Enhancing skills and job performance - Reflect the experience and aspirations of the jobholder

Performance ratings Excellent - A contribution that consistently exceeds the agreed objectives and competencies Good - A contribution that meets the agreed objectives and competencies Fair - A contribution where some, but not all agreed objectives and competencies are met Unsatisfactory - A contribution that is below requirements, few objectives or competencies are met
