3 Background  Context & Objective –Salford City Council and Primary Care Trust have joined forces to ‘listen, learn and change’ in response to resident feedback. –Resident feedback is sought through structured quarterly ad-hoc surveys  Methodology –Postal self-completion questionnaire – initial mail-out + reminder –10 th wave: March – April 2009 –Random sample from Postal Address File –10 th wave: 14,000 out : 2,439 returns : 17% response rate –Results weighted by age/gender/ethnicity within each Community Committee area to reflect its population –Results analysed with regards to significant differences –Reference to BL8 = summer 2008, BL6 = summer 2007, BL4 = summer 2006
