Family Groups These are set by the Welsh Assembly based on placing schools within families of similarities and circumstances. For example, pupils receiving free school meals, pupils with special educational needs, etc. CSI – Core Subject Indicator Pupils who achieve level 4 or above in all core subjects are described as achieving the core subject indicator. This is an important figure for the school community, because it shows the school’s success in raising standards across all subject areas.

We are extremely grateful once again for the help and support provided to the school by the P.T.F.A. The pupils have enjoyed a number of social events during the year and fundraising efforts have benefited the pupils in many ways: ◦ New equipment – iPads, Imac and Apple TV ◦ Contributions to school fund for subsidising educational visits. ◦ Providing resources to develop Core Subjects ◦ Active support in enhancing school premises - Climbing Trail. Many thanks to all P.T.F.A. members past and present for their efforts.
