2. Background A web-based system that provides tests using the same kind of questions that appear on the end-of-year CRCT, the Science, Soc. St., Math, and Language Arts GHSGT. Two kinds of tests are provided: Student tests Grade-specific tests assigned automatically Completely under students’ control Teacher-created and assigned tests Teacher determines the nature of test, who takes the test, when the test is taken

16. About Reading Tests Reading tests (both student tests and teacher- assigned tests) have a slightly different format. Reading tests have two windows that scroll independently so that you can see the reading passage and the questions at the same time. All questions associated with a particular reading passage are displayed in the same window. Scroll through the window to see all questions associated with a passage. The “Next Question” button takes you to the first question associated with the next reading passage.

43. Power Teacher Functions (cont.) : Create Classes Under the Classes Tab, your can create a new Class, modify a class, delete a class (BE CAREFUL!), and assign tests to a class.

44. Power Teacher Functions ( cont.): Create Class Give classes descriptive names so you (and others) know the grade, etc. Items with red checks are required. Select correct grade level to filter students by grade.

45. Power Teacher Functions ( cont.): Create Class Click on Add All or Ctrl (hold down) and click on individual student names to select nonconsecutive students and then select Add. Use the same method to assign teachers to the class and select Submit.

47. Power Teacher Functions Create Student Account ( cont.): Follow the logon id convention already in place, 150207 for Elem. and HS, 7300190 for middle school, + SASI number. Use your class handouts for the beginning number and check with secretary for SASI number. Select: Grade Level Ethnicity Gender Special Ed. Service and Primary Disability (check with Sp. Ed. Teacher). Select Submit.
