6. Uh-Oh… Babylonians destroyed the temple in Jerusalem and took people of Judah captive This was the beginning of the Jewish diaspora (scattering) Persians then conquered the babylonians/allowing them to rebuild their temple

7. Not again… This time the Romans took control of Judea, heavily taxed, and outlawed parts of the jewish religion. The Romans killed thousands of jews and destroyed their temple in 70 A.D
