11. So how will the IB Middle Years Programme change your child’s classes? 1. There will be more of an emphasis on assessments, which can include written tests, projects, and papers. 2. Instead of students thinking of subjects in isolation, they will have to use knowledge from various classes for certain assignments. 3. Students will better see the link between what they are learning and what is going on in their community, country, and the world. 4. Students will have a more rigorous course of study. This will prepare them for Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate Diploma courses. This will also prepare them for all educational possibilities after high school.
