Deuteronomy 11:13-24 Fix these words of mine in you hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your head and bind them on your forehead. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates, so that your days and the days of your children may be many. If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow, to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to hold fast to Him, then… every place where you set your foot will be yours.

What is our response to understanding who God is? God is Creator Stand in awe of God’s power. Believe that He is in control. God is Love Love others as Christ loves us. Forgive, be kind, be gentle. God is Wisdom Seek God’s opinion, not our own. Do what Jesus would do. God is Protector Trust and have confidence in a great and powerful God, a loving father.

What is our response to understanding who God is? God is Powerful Believe in God’s supernatural ability; have faith. God is Truth Know that Jesus is the only way; Tell the truth and live the truth. God is Pure and Holy Ask for God’s forgiveness and salvation. Be pure in words and deeds. Obey God. God is Patient Be patient with ourselves and others.

What is our response to understanding who God is? God is a Servant (through Jesus) Serve one another with humility. Put others first and self last. God is Life Jesus gives us new life when we accept Him as Saviour. Live the Christian life by demonstrating the fruit of the Spirit. God is a Provider Trust and have confidence that He cares for us and will provide for us. Do not worry! God is Peace Be at peace, knowing that God is with us. Develop good relationships and resolve conflict peacefully.
