About Me Ocean View High School- 1996 San Diego State University- 2002 –Child and Family Development CSU Long Beach –Teaching Credential Eastwood Long Term Sub Grades 1, 2, 3 & 5 2002-2005 School Year –2005-2006, 2nd Grade _______________________ Son- Cameron, 4 ½ I love soccer, collecting rocks, Lake Tahoe, and of course teaching!

3. A-2 Discipline Plan Classroom Rules –1. Keep your hands and feet to yourself. –2. Talk quietly when it is your turn. –3. Respect others and their belongings. –4.Keep our room clean.

4. Rewards –Free Time –Kazebucks –Outside Time –Move clip up on color chart –Stripes

5. Stripes Our class tiger will be taken home everyday by someone who has had a particularly good day by: completing all work, following all classroom rules, helping others, being a good friend, etc… If your child brings home Stripes, PLEASE RETURN THE VERY NEXT SCHOOL DAY, so another student may take him home.

6. Consequences 1.Move clip down. 2.Miss part of recess. 3.Call parents and detention. 4.Visit with Mrs. Brush. **My focus is positive reinforcement and redirecting unwanted behaviors**

7. Homework Policy Homework goes home on FRIDAY. Homework is turned back in the following WEDNESDAY in the homework folder. Homework includes spelling, a sheet of math, and beginning October 1, a book report.

8. Reading Books Reading books come home in a brown envelop on WEDNESDAY for practice. Read these books, SIGN THE BOOK SHEET, take them out to keep, and send the envelope back to school by FRIDAY.

9. Our Day 8:00-8:05 Attendance & Lunch Count 8:05-8:35 P.E/Small Group Time 8:35-9:40 Open Court Reading 9:40-10:00 Recess 10:00-10:30 Open Court 10:30-11:30 Math 11:30-12:15 Lunch 12:15-12:30 Read Aloud 12:30-1:45 Science/Social Studies (10 minute break in between) 1:45-2:00 Clean-up, ready for home
