When do I cite a source? Do I cite a source even if I have not used a direct citation? How do I know when?

What if I’m quoting a quote that was quoted in another source? Two Options: Find the original source of the quotation. Then you will add that source to your Works Cited page. This is ideal! Cite the source where you found the information. Identify the original speaker and then quote the source in parenthesis.
