1. National—Ihop Shooting A man went into a Las Vegas Ihop and opened fire The man killed four people, then took his own life. He used an AK-47 and shot 11 people—3 of the dead were members of the National Guard

2. National—Texas Fires Fires have burned Texas for the last 295 days—burning over 120,000 acres in the last week alone Governor Rick Perry has visited the areas of interest and may not participate in the debates tomorrow night The fires have destroyed over 1,000 homes

3. Local—Woman crashes into police building Man jumped on a woman’s car near K.C. and pointed a gun at her She stomped on the accelerator and rammed through a garage door with him on the hood. He stopped traffic by dancing in the road before he jumped on her hood.

4. Local—Garden City student Killed A Garden City Senior was shot and killed Tuesday morning in his home. He was a star athlete and excelled in wrestling, getting 4 th at 6A state last year in the 135 pound division. No arrests have been made and still under investigation
