7. Asteroid Belt The Asteroid Belt lies between Mars and Jupiter.
Asteroids and comets both orbit the sun.

8. Jupiter Jupiter is the largest planet in our Solar System.
Jupiter is the 5th planet from the Sun.

9. Saturn Saturn is the second largest planet.
Saturn is the 2nd planet from our Solar System.

10. Uranus Uranus is the 7th planet from the Sun.
It is named after the Greek God.

11. Neptune Neptune is the 8th and final planet.
Neptune is named after the Roman sea God.

12. Pluto Pluto has a rocky surface covered with nitrogen.
Pluto’s moon is mostly nitrogen.

13. Comets
Some comets, like Halley’s comet, became well known because their orbits bring them to close.
Comets are a mass of ice.

14. Stars
A star is a huge ball of superheated gas.
The Sun is a star.

15. Galaxy
A galaxy is stars, gas, and dust. We live in the galaxy called the Milky Way.
