Pandas By: Elizabeth Kasprzak

Pandas are extraordinary animals. They’re different from other animals. Pandas prefer to live alone. What newborn pandas look like at birth.

A bear like no other. Some Giant pandas can be 6 feet long and weigh up to 300 pounds. Pandas look fat mainly because of their fur. You probably think pandas are good hunters, but their not. They can’t see or move quickly very well. Also they eat mainly bamboo so they won’t have to hunt.

Pandas prefer to live alone. Since pandas like to live alone they have their own territory. Pandas mark their territory so other pandas won’t come near. They mark their territory with an animal called musk. They eat only bamboo from their own territory. They can eat an area of a soccer field in one day.

A Bear Is Born When pandas are first born they are black and white. They are also very small, small as chipmunks. About six weeks later, they look like miniature giant pandas. When they turn four months, they can ride on their mothers back. Before they turn two they have to leave their mother and survive on their own.

Pandas are amazing! They are very big and fluffy. They can survive an their own. They are very small at birth. I Hope You Enjoyed It!
