Sample Strategy: To actively involve students in the learning process by increasing communication between teacher and students.  The teachers will capture students’ attention at the beginning of class by using bell ringers, attention getters, etc.  Teachers will emphasize important information for students by introducing the information in the introduction, repeating it during the lesson, and repeat it again in the summary.  Teachers will use specific and familiar examples to enhance students’ understanding of the course topics by using the students’ experiences or prior knowledge.  Teachers will vary the pace and type of instructional activities in the class.  Teachers will involve students in research to expose them to outside enrichment sources.
