When solving trig equations there are a few things to keep in mind: 1.Before you solve any trig equation, check the domain of the problem. (Is it asking for all solutions or those between 0 and 360° or 0 and 2π?). 2.To determine if you answer in degrees or radians: a.Always follow the directions b.If the problem doesn’t specify in the directions 1.If the problem has the variable x, answer in radians 2.If the problem has the variable θ, answer in degrees 3.Always give exact answers (from unit circle) when possible.
