Parental Duties: providing the basic necessities, with increasing interest in children’s rights within the home environment

Children’s Rights: human rights of children, with particular attention to the basic needs for food, shelter, universal state-paid education, & health care

Providing Emotional Security: provide a safe loving environment, give a child a sense of being loved, needed, welcomed *give a child a sense of being loved through: * emotional support, encouragement * attachment, caressing, hugging, touch, etc.
