2. What was the challenge? eJames May and Jeremy Clarkson raced a truck against a group of sled dogs to the North Pole in 1996. eThey filmed this race to put on a show called Top Gear: Polar Special.

3. What they drove eThey drove a Toyota Hilux. That’s them in their Hilux.

4. What they saw eThey saw a family of polar bears. eThey drove on the Arctic Ocean. eJames May was the first person to drive a pick up truck to the magnetic north pole. eThey had a shotgun incase the polar bears were going to attack them. eThe Hilux was chosen because it had proven itself to see the exebeditionally durable.

5. The date eThe expedition set out in April of 2007. eIt took them almost a year to get ready. e They started in the morning.

6. What they did They had fun spinning through the snow. They could have fallen through thin ice but they stayed away from the thin ice They had to use a special toilet to go to the bathroom at the end of the truck. They got stuck.When they got to the North Pole they ran out of gas.
