How are a swamp and a marsh different?

Marshes have grasses and swamps have trees. Marshes at the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Cambridge are in danger from rising sea levels. The marshes help filter nutrients and pollutants and act as a barrier to storm surges. Also, marshes acts as nurseries for wildlife.
