17. Brain-Compatible: Effective Questioning Techniques Questions can be powerful tools for generating and promoting learning. The can also give us insights as to what directions our instruction should take. However, like any tool, if they are used incorrectly, they can do more harm than good. When questions expose students as wrong or not knowing, they can actually undermine the learning process. Spence Rogers 2007
