2 The Federal Bureaucracy Bureaucracy- a large, complex administrative structure that handles the everyday business of an organization. The federal bureaucracy is all of the agencies, people, and procedures through which the Federal Government operates.  Federal Government is the largest organization in the country.  The President is the chief administrator of the Federal Government. Federal employees deliver mail, collect taxes, conduct American foreign policy and on….

3 Executive Departments  The executive departments, often called the Cabinet departments, are the traditional units of federal administration. Today, the executive departments vary a great deal in terms of visibility, size, and importance.
