2. Warm- Up  Get out your composition books, title this entry “Warm- up 9-8-11 (or 9-9-11 on Friday!)”.  Answer the following questions (in complete sentences) in your composition book.  1. 5. Now what…  Now we are going to watch a quick video  Then you will pull out page 17 from your Reader’s notebook and use the chart while reading “New Directions” by Maya Angelou. When finished, staple the paper in your composition book, on the next available page.  Read, ANNOTATE, and complete pages 21- 26. Whatever you don’t finish… is homework!!! (Do it in class so you don’t have to take the book home!)
