5 Affirmative Tú Commands Some verbs have irregular affirmative tú commands. To form many of these commands, take the yo form of the present tense and drop the -go:

15 Ud. and Uds. Commands To give an affirmative or negative command in the Ud. or Uds. form, use the present-tense yo form as the stem just as you did for negative tú commands.

20 Nosotros Commands You can also use a command with a nosotros form. The nosotros command for is the same as the nosotros form of the present subjunctive. The subjunctive is not a tense; rather, it is a mood. It reflects how the speaker feels about the action. Hablar → Hablemos Comer → Comamos Escribir → Escribamos

21 Nosotros Commands Stem changing verbs in nosotros commands only occur in –ir verbs. Dirvertir → divirtimos Preferir → prefiramos Servir → sirvamos Pedir → pidamos Vestir → vistamos Repetir → repitamos Mentir → mintamos Dormir → durmamos

23 Nosotros Commands Verbs whose infinitive ends in –car, - gar, and –zar have a spelling change in the nosotros form of the present subjunctive, and consequently of the nosotros command. Let´s begin to think a little about them. Empecemos a pensar un poco en ellos. Let´s not criticize our parents. No critiquemos a nuestros padres.

24 Nosotros Commands Direct and indirect object pronouns are attached at the end of affirmative nosotros commands, but precede the negative nosotros command form. Let´s celebrate our friendship. Let´s celebrate it. Celebramos la amistad. Celebrémosla. Let´s tell him everything. Let´s not lie to him. Digámosle todo. No le mintamos.

25 Ud. and Uds. Commands With negative commands, pronouns go right before the verb. ¿Encendemos la fogata ahora? No, no la enciendan todavía.

27 Nosotros Commands There are two ways to suggest that others do some activity with you (Let´s…) You can use the construction Vamos a + infinitive. Let´s make up. Vamos a hacer las paces.
