Actions for Health Equity in Västra Götaland Commission: Action Plan for Health Equity The Regional Council commissioned the Regional Executive Board to prepare an Action Plan for Health Equity in Västra Götaland in the budget of 2011. The Public Health Committee was assigned to coordinate the commission.

7. A regional policy The Regional Council adopted “Together towards Social Sustainability – actions on health equity in Region Västra Götaland” on September 24 th. The process of implementation started in November 2013. The Secretariat of Public Health Committee has started a new journey with the new regional policy in focus.
