What is history? History – significant events of the past Activity – List 3 people, 3 places and 3 events that you think of when you think of History

Activity Pair up and come up with a list of 10 people and ten events that have happened in your lifetime that you think will “make history”.

Who or What will “make history”? Intro to an essay 1 paragraph, 3 to 5 sentences Who is the person, what did they do, why will they be remembered –or- What is the event, who was involved and why will it be remembered Proper English conventions

Economic Factors Supply – how much of an item is available Demand – how much of an item is desired Prices are determined by these factors Activity – What prices have changed over the last 2 or 3 years? Name at least 3 items, why do you think they have changed?
