The body of an adult ladybird has three main parts. First is the head with eyes and antennae for sensing the world around them. Second is the thorax with six pairs of legs and two pairs of wings. Third is the abdomen for breathing, digesting and reproducing.

Flies are pests to families. All insects have six legs and two pairs of wings. They have three main parts to their body, the first part is called the head which is used for seeing. The second is the thorax which has two pairs of wings and six legs, third is the abdomen for breathing, and reproducing

Bees have three parts, also they have compound eyes. Bees have transparent wings.

There is only one queen bee. She starts making the nest. After a few weeks the cells are built and she lays some eggs in the cells. After the eggs have hatched the worker bees make more cells.

Glossary Abdomen – the third part of an insects body Antennae- its for sensing the world around the insects. Transparent- which means there wings are see through. Thorax- the second body part of an insects body Invertebrates- it means they don’t have any bones inside them. Cells- baby bees bed a shape of an hexagon
