2. He comes the God who is Father, Son and Spirit. He comes for he has promised to do so. He was there on the first day of creation, he will be there on the last. While coming at the hour he alone chooses, the God who is Father, Son and Spirit wishes that we call him, that we desire him and keep waiting for him. The Season of Advent is a privileged time for doing that, to say and repeat with fervor: Come, Come to save us ! Come to enlighten us, uplift us, liberate us, comfort us ! Come ! 4. God has always wanted the need of human mediations to transmit his message and to give a sign. Still today, some women and men will stand to proclaim: Prepare the way of the Lord! Shall we listen? Shall we ourselves become messengers of the Good News? A Road to Prepare

5. herefore, hasten to please the Lord, wait for him unceasingly in your heart; T search for him by your thoughts; incite your will and your sentiment to reach out unceasingly toward Him. Listening to the Fathers

6. It is then, that he will come to you and establish his home in you.(…) Yes, as soon as he will have seen your fervor in searching for Him and the unflagging hope that you put in Him, he will instruct you, teach you true prayer, give you the true love that he IS.

7. Then, he will become all for you: paradise, tree of life, precious pearl, crown, builders, ploughman: a being subjected to suffering but dominating it. In you, he becomes man, God, wine, water of life,sheep, spouse, warrior, weapon, in short: the Christ, all in all!

13. WORD FOR TODAY Sinner, a hundred times, forgiven… The liturgy of the Word opens with a poignant injunction from God: Console, console my people… Consolation, it is pardon, and peace flows from it: I listen, what will the Lord God say? What he says, it is peace.

14. See I send my messenger before you… John the Baptist was that messenger. He prepared the heart of his contemporaries to welcome you. He showed them that You are the living Good News, You, Jesus, whose name means God Saves.

15. Today, You call us to the same witness. You want to make of us messengers of the Good News. Give us the humility and availability of John the Baptist to bring to you the women and men of our times.
