4. The dreidel spun and spun faster and faster until it got its wings and flew and “spinned” all the way to our classroom in Dallas,Tx.

5. We were at circle time and it landed on the carpet on Gimel. It was a huge dreidel now.

6. It got so big because spinning so fast gave it energy. Seeing the dreidel reminded us of Hanukkah.

7. So we started singing Hanukkah songs. And the dreidel started to spin. We said, “stop dreidel stop!” and it stopped. Click on the speaker to hear us sing

8. The dreidel was wearing glasses so we started talking to it in hebrew. We said, “Boker Tov” and it said, “Boker or.”

9. We asked the dreidel, “Why did you come to our classroom?” Dreidel said, “Because I want to teach you about the miracle.”

10. So, dreidel told us to start singing and he started spinning and taught us all about the great miracle of the Maccabes and Antiochous and how when the Jewish people went back to the temple, they found only one jar of oil and it lasted 8 days!

11. We started singing Sevivon so fast that the dreidel, well, it disappeared!

13. We Think it went to another Jewish school to teach more children about Nes, Gadol, Hayah, Sham
