9 What is continuing professional development (CPD)? CPD is the continuous maintenance, development and enhancement of the professional and personal knowledge and skills which ACCA members require throughout their working lives

16 ACCA Realise Approved employer route Members who participate in an approved employers development scheme will automatically meet ACCAs CPD requirement Members will complete a simple annual return No requirement to track and determine unit allocations for CPD activities

17 ACCA Realise Unit Scheme route 40 units completed and recorded per annum 21 of the 40 units must be verifiable One unit = one hour Carry forward principle Annual CPD return Evidence of CPD to be retained for three years ACCA inspection
