4. Local Competitions slide I Xmas Cup Massimo Cremona wins the Christmas Cup having the better off Joseph Borg Bonaci. 30 shots had to be taken to obtain the highest stand on the podium.

7. Local Competitions slide IV Knock Out Samuel Bartolo wins the MTFSA Knock Out for the second consecutive year. Beating 4-0 Joe Mifsud in the semi final led him to reach his aim and in the final he was already 3-0 ahead of Charles Aquilina. The match finished 3-2 for Bartolo.

8. Local Competitions slide V Premier Division Mark Gauci crownd Malta Champion in a thrilling competition tied till the end. Joe Borg Bonaci, Hansel Mallia and Samuel Bartolo finished second place.

9. Local Competitions slide VI 1 st Division Josef Camilleri bet his contestant to win the 1 st Division. Joe Zammit Pavia finished in second place.

10. Local Competitions slide VIII U/15 Championship Matthew Pace wins U/15 in a close encounter against Angelo Borg. Darren Bezzina finished 3 rd place.

11. International Events – Jan 08 I.Open & G.Prix for Teams Hamrun TFC win the Grand Prix for Teams in a five team league schedule. Derek Conti wins the I.Open beating Charles Aquilina 1-0

12. International Events – Jan 08 I.Open & G.Prix for Teams (contd.) The U/19 saw Nicholas Sciberras beating Timothy Spiteri 2-1 to win his 1 st International competition. In the U/15, Angelo Borg bet Matthew Pace 2-0 to obtain another title to his repertoire. The Veteran category was dominated by Patrick Pace who won all his matches. In the final he faced Natalino Tanti winning 3-0.

13. International Events – May 08 International Open Massimo Cremona wins over Ilai Zammit Marmara on shots Mattew Pace wins the U/15 Emilio Richichi wins the Veterans

14. Maltese Players in FISTF events August 07 - Mattersburgh Massimo Cremona looses at last 32 stage to Stefano Buono 3-2. September 07 - Naples Joe Mifsud & Hansel Mallia reach q/finals while Jean Carl Tabone looses in barrage.

15. Maltese Players in FISTF events October 08 – Athens Hamrun TFC obtain 16 th place while several other Maltese players played with their respective foreign teams. October 08 – Rochfort Massimo Cremona participated to this Grand Prix loosing at group stage.

16. Maltese Players in FISTF events December 07 – Vienna Massimo Cremona looses in the last 16 stage against Stefan Defrancesco. January 08 – Oldham Joe Mifsud & Hansel Mallia lost in early stages of this G.Prix. Mallia wins the Team event with AS Hennuyer.

17. Maltese Players in FISTF events January 08 – Rome Derek Conti & Samuel Bartolo win the Satellite of Rome for Teams with their Italian side. February 08 – Odense Massimo Cremona looses 2-1 to Eric Verhagen in the Grand Prix of Denmark

18. Maltese Players in FISTF events March 08 – Mons Hamrun TFC lost to AS Hennuyer in a goalden goal thriller. 19 Maltese players took part in the Major of Belgium. Angelo Borg had the best of them in the individuals when he reached final loosing on shots in the U/15 category. Mark gauci & Charles Aquilina won the Team event with Reggiana of Italy.

19. Maltese Players in FISTF events March 08 – Milton Keynes Hansel Mallia & Stephen Caruana played in the I.Open of England. Mallia lost in the Quarters while Caruana lost at last 32 stage. March 08 – Amsterdam Joe Borg Bonaci lost at an early stage of the event to Chris Short. He obtained runner up podium with his Greek team Falcons Athens in the Team event.

20. Maltese Players in FISTF events May 08 - Bologna Six Maltese players took part in the Major of Italy. Joe Borg Bonaci won the event with Joe Mifsud reaching the semis. Derek Conti, Samuel Bartolo, Charles Aquilina and Hansel Mallia were the other Maltese players.

21. Maltese Players in FISTF events June 08 – Rome Derek Conti and Massimo Cremona were the sole Maltese to this Grand Prix. Conti lost at last 32 stage while Cremona reaches

22. FISTF World Cup 2008 - Vienna Team Event Malta loosing 2-1 to Spain in the Q/Finals Open - individuals Cremona & Bartolo reach last 16 Mallia & Gauci loose at last 32 Open Veterans Zammit Pavia fails qualification and looses at group stage.

23. MTFSA & M.O.C. MTFSA national team wins bronze at the sportsmen awards held by the MOC for their achievement. Malta wins gold in the International friendly against Sicilian CONI in Palermo winning 4-0.

24. MTFSA & M.O.C. Malta wins gold again in the International friendly against Sicilian CONI played in May 08 in Malta 2-0. Coaching meetings and youth assistance held within the M.O.C. for which the MTFSA was also present.
