2. First conjugation verbs ending in -er
Look at the present tense of the tu, nous and vous forms. Drop the pronoun and the –s of the tu form and voilà, you have the imperative or command forms.
Je chante nous chantons (let’s sing)
Tu chantes (sing) vous chantez (sing)
Il chante ils chantent
Aller- va, allons allez but Vas-y (Add s before Y.)

3. Second and third conjugation-ir and –er verbs
Just drop the pronoun
Je finis nous finissons Je vends nous vendons
Tu finis vous finissez tu vends vous vendez
Il finit ils finissent il vend ils vendent
Finis! Finish! Vends! Sell!
Finissons! Let’s finish! Vendons! Let’s sell!
Finissez! Finish! Vendez! Sell!

4. Negative commands Ne chante pas! Don’t sing!
Ne finissons pas! Let’s not finish!
Ne va pas! Don’t go!

5. Reflexive verbs Se laver Affirmative Negative
Lave-toi! Ne te lave pas!
Lavons-nous! Ne nous lavons pas!
Lavez-vous! Ne vous lavez pas!
