A possessive adjective without the noun Sometimes possesstive adjectives may be used without the noun. -- ¿Este cepillo es tuyo? --- Sí es mío. ---¿Son sus toallas? ---No, no son nuestras. --¿Es el maquillaje de ella? ---No, no es suyo. See pgs 88 and 89 in your text for more examples
